Nikos Drosos is scientific collaborator of the Career Counseling Research & Assessment Center (KEAES) of the University of Athens. He has been working for several years in the field of counseling and career guidance: he has undertaken the supervision, development, implementation and assessment of many career counseling projects in collaboration with various Institutions, he is responsible for the coordination of the various actions of the “Bridges for Employment” project for the  development of methodology and tools for career counseling services for people with mental health problems, he is scientific responsible for a career guidance office for unemployed adults; he maintains the private office for counseling and career guidance “CareeRevolution”, and he has conducted researches and published several papers. Recently, he was elected in the Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Association for Psycho-social Rehabilitation & Work Integration (PEPSAEE), a big non-governmental organization that applies counseling and career guidance services to people from socially vulnerable groups; and he has undertaken several counseling and guidance projects.

Dr. Nikos Drosos teaches in various educational programs (e.g. “Career assessment”, “Special Education and Career Guidance”, “Modern approaches to Career Counseling”) for psychologists, career counselors etc.; and in the “Counseling & Career Guidance” Master of Science program of the University of Athens.

Bernd-Joachim Ertelt is a Professor for Science of Education in VET at the Jan Dlugosz University (AJD), Faculty of Education, Czestochowa/Polen, Lecturer at the University of Applied Labour Studies of the Federal Employment Agency (Hochschule der Bundesagentur für Arbeit (HdBA), at the University of Mannheim (Faculty of Social Sciences) and at the University of Heidelberg (Institute for Educational Science, Unit for Further Training and Guidance). He is Honorary Professor at the University of National and World Economy, Sofia/Bulgaria. Since 1985 he works as expert and consultant in many countries and various international projects and organisations in the fields of counselling methodology, development of vocational guidance services, evaluation of international projects and academic counsellor training (ILO, CEDEFOP, World Bank, EU-Commission, Leonardo da Vinci, OECD, ERASMUS, etc.); numerous publications and studies. He is member of Conseil Scientific International of J. "OSP" (INETOP, Paris), Editorial Board of J. "Career Designing: Research and Counselling" (Kaunas/Lithuania), and International Board of the of the "Journal of Counsellogy" (Wroclaw/Poland).

Jukka Lerkkanen, Dr., Principal Lecturer, and Head of Department works in the Teacher Education College (TEC), in JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä, Finland. In the university his responsibility belongs administration of Human Resources and post-degree studies (TEC), and developing curriculums and guidance services in JAMK. Since 1996 he has implemented initial and in-service programmes for career guidance and counseling practitioners in Finland. Lerkkanen released doctoral dissertation (2002) focused on the student readiness for career decisions, and he has compiled tools and training materials to promote the development of career management skills in various educational settings. He has membership in numerous European (NICE, TOI-BLUE, VALA) and national thematic working groups in the field of lifelong guidance. 

Hazel Reid is a Reader in Career Guidance and Counselling and Director of the Centre for Career and Personal Development at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. Based at the Medway campus, she teaches in the areas of career and guidance theory and research methods. She also supervises students undertaking Doctoral research. Hazel is a Fellow of the Career Development Institute, a member of the International Association of Educational & Vocational Guidance, a NICEC Fellow (National Institute of Careers Education & Counselling) and co-edits the NICEC journal. She is involved in European projects related to the work of career guidance practitioners, including the Network for Innovation in Career Guidance and Counselling. 

Hazel's previous research was concerned with the meanings given to the function of supervision within guidance and youth support work. Currently she is exploring the development of constructivist approaches for career guidance and counselling, and examining the effects of unemployment on young people in an area of Kent. Hazel is a Fellow of the Academy of Higher Education and a founding member of the recently formed European Society for Vocational Designing and Career Counselling. She also co-ordinates the Auto/Biography and Narrative Research theme group in the Faculty of Education. Her latest books, written in collaboration with Jane Westergaard, include Effective Counselling with Young People and Effective Supervision for Counsellors: an introduction. She is currently writing An Introduction to Career Counselling and Career Coaching for Sage Publications.

Ronald Sultana Director, Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Educational Research, University of Malta Ronald G. Sultana studied career guidance at the Universities of Reading (UK), Waikato (New Zealand), and Stanford (USA), where he was a Fulbright Fellow. He is professor of sociology and comparative education at the University of Malta, where he directs the Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Educational Research. Professor Sultana is a Fellow of the National Institute for Career Education & Counselling (NICEC-UK), a consulting expert to the European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network, and has served on the editorial board of the British Journal of Guidance and Counselling, and the Journal of Education and Work. He has participated as a consulting expert in several international reviews of career guidance, including those led by the OECD and the European Union. His most recent work includes comparative analyses of career guidance across Europe, and in the Arab states. He has published over 24 books and 108 papers in refereed journals. Seija Koskela Dr., Principal Lecturer, works in the Teacher Education College (TEC), in JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä, Finland. In the university her responsibilities are tutoring both vocational teacher students and post-degree students (TEC), and developing curricula. Koskela’s doctoral dissertation focused on developing interdisciplinary team work inside the school organization and increasing teachers’ guidance and counselling skills. She is a member in several national thematic working groups in the field of lifelong guidance.
